Scrum Master in the age of AI
How is the role of the Scrum Master changing in the age of AI?
Practical AI training for Scrum Masters
How does a Scrum Master work in an AI-supported team?
AI is not only changing the speed of development. It also affects how a team collaborates, how decisions are made, how the team learns, how its performance is measured, and how work is divided between people and AI agents.
This is also transforming the role of the Scrum Master.
AI may be capable of documenting events, analysing data, identifying flow problems, evaluating surveys or preparing improvement suggestions. Facilitation, trust-building, coaching, conflict management and supporting the team's genuine development, however, remain human competencies.
This training therefore does not simply present AI tools. We examine what a modern Scrum Master role looks like in a team working alongside AI.
The training is built around seven focus areas running in parallel: facilitation and teaching, measuring event effectiveness, team maturity, flow optimisation, the AI Value Expert role, education and skills development, and coaching and reflection.

Frequently asked questions about the Scrum Master AI training:
Who is the Scrum Master in the age of AI training for?
We recommend the training for Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Team Coaches, agile team leaders, Release Train Engineers and others working in agile leadership roles, as well as professionals who want to improve how AI-supported teams operate. On the training map, it sits at the advanced level.
Does it require prior AI knowledge?
No. The training isn't about learning a specific application. It's about which AI solution fits which Scrum Master task, what's worth automating, and where human presence, facilitation and decision-making remain indispensable.
Is Scrum Master experience or certification required?
No certification is required. Practical Scrum Master or agile leadership experience is an advantage though, since the training builds on knowledge of Scrum and Kanban events, team maturity and flow metrics. If you're just starting out in the role, the Scrum Master training with simulation is the recommended first step.
How long does it last and in what format?
The training runs 16 hours over two days. We run groups both in-person and online, in distance-learning format. The proportion of practical elements is high: participants work on their own team situations and real operational data.
Do I get an international certification at the end of the training?
No, this training is ProMan Consulting's own in-house programme, not exam preparation. If you want an international certification in AI and Scrum, PSM AI Essentials exam preparation is the right programme, leading to an official Scrum.org certification.
What's the difference between PSM AI Essentials and Scrum Master in the Age of AI?
PSM AI Essentials is an 8-hour Scrum.org exam preparation training course that concludes with an exam and an international certification, providing entry-level AI knowledge. The Scrum Master in the Age of AI is a 16-hour, proprietary, advanced programme that deals more deeply with measuring team maturity, flow optimisation and the role of the Scrum Master AI Value Expert. The two do not replace each other.
Do I get PDUs towards maintaining my PMI certifications for this training?
Yes, PDUs corresponding to the training's hours can be credited towards maintaining PMI certifications.
Can the training be delivered in-house for our own team?
Yes. We deliver in-house training with a custom schedule, tailored to your organisation's needs, from as few as 5 participants, in Hungarian or English. In this format, we work with your own processes and real operational data.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with the training?
We offer a satisfaction guarantee: if you let us know during the first day that you're not satisfied, you don't have to pay. The training fee is invoiced after the final session, we ask for nothing upfront.
