What is the PSM-AI Essentials exam preparation course about?

The role of the Scrum Master is not disappearing alongside AI, rather it is being transformed. Facilitation, team development and the removal of impediments are now expanded with a new set of tools, and it is the Scrum Master who must show the team and the organisation how to do this responsibly.

By the end of the course you will:

  • understand the fundamental concepts of AI: machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI
  • know where AI does and does not support the facilitation and collaboration of a Scrum team
  • be able to apply practical prompting techniques to everyday Scrum Master tasks
  • recognise the ethical and security risks associated with AI, and know where human oversight is required
  • be able to involve AI in Scrum events without giving up the substance of the Scrum Master role
  • be prepared for the official Scrum.org PSM-AI Essentials exam

PSM-AI Essentials is an 8-hour, one-day exam preparation training. The course fee does not include the exam fee.

A practical knowledge of the Scrum framework and teamwork is a prerequisite, as the programme focuses on day-to-day Scrum Master work.

The course is 8 hours, delivered over one day. We run groups in classroom and online, distance-learning formats as well.

Yes, practical familiarity with the Scrum framework and working in a Scrum team is required, though several years of experience is not necessarily expected. 

Currently 200 USD per attempt, paid directly to Scrum.org rather than as part of the course fee. Prices are subject to change by Scrum.org.

40 multiple-choice questions, a 60-minute time limit, in English. A minimum score of 85% is required to pass.

A lifetime PSM-AI Essentials credential, with no annual renewal fee, plus a free digital Credly certificate.

Because this is an official, international Scrum.org exam, and its language is standardised globally. We deliver the preparatory course in Hungarian, but using English-language terminology. We also prepare you for the exam format and typical question types.

Yes, if there are several people interested from your company, we offer on-site group training from 5 people upwards, in both English and Hungarian. In that case scheduling is flexible.
