What is the Advanced Scrum Master training about?
The aim of the Advanced Scrum Master training is to provide participants with a deeper understanding of agile principles and several agile frameworks (Scrum, Spotify, Nexus, SAFe), as well as to equip Scrum Masters with practical knowledge and useful tools. During the programme, participants gain hands-on experience by working through real-life simulations and case studies.
The Scrum Master role requires continuous self-development across several complex areas of expertise. Once you understand the basics, the field opens up and exposes you to new models, management trends, modern theories, and tools. The primary goal of the training is to introduce and practice essential tools and to develop key skill sets for practicing Scrum Masters, drawing from the wide range of available knowledge.
This training is designed for individuals and groups who are committed to effectively supporting agile teams, who prefer a servant leadership approach over a traditional management style, and who believe in the power of teams, creativity, and collaboration.

Prerequisites and structure of the Advanced Scrum Master programme
For the 16-hour programme, we invite professionals who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- At least 2 years of professional experience working in an agile team; or
- Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification; or
- Completion of a Scrum Master training course and ongoing independent skill development through websites, books, videos, or e-learning materials (this can be indicated by candidates in a short survey).
The programme can also be delivered to teams, in which case the exercises, situations, and scenarios are tailored to the client’s specific needs.
PSM II exam preparation
We offer an additional 4-hour training module after the programme to support preparation for the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) certification exam. This module includes a 30-question exam simulation and a joint review and evaluation of the results.
