BA Simulation in the Age of AI

Hands-on Case Study with AI for Business Analysts

Over the two days, you will work through a realistic business case to build an AI-supported Business Analysis workflow from start to finish. Along the way, you will learn how to collaborate with specialised AI agents and critically validate the outputs they produce.

What is the BA simulation training in the AI era about?

AI has appeared in virtually every professional field, and business analysis (BA) work is no exception. There is a growing expectation that BA tasks should be carried out more efficiently across the entire product lifecycle using AI tools, without any drop in quality. This pressure becomes genuinely risky when you lack tried and tested, first-hand experience of exactly where AI genuinely helps with a BA task, and where it leads to misleading or incomplete results.

The purpose of the programme is to give you a practical answer to this. Over the two days, you will work through a realistic case study, from uncovering the initial situation through the business case, requirements management and specification, right up to review. Every practical block is carried out on your own device, using your own AI account.

We will show you:

  • how AI can be applied throughout BA processes,
  • how a complex BA task can be broken down among AI agents with focused roles,
  • how the results of a generalist approach and a role-split approach compare,
  • and how individual agents can be chained together whilst you define the human checkpoints along the way.

Prerequisites, frameworks, target audience

The programme is an intensive, practical course, with over 80% of the time devoted to hands-on task work.

We primarily recommend this course to business analysts (BA) and project managers (PM) with at least one year of experience who want to make their day-to-day work more efficient using AI tools, prepare for the role transformation that follows AI adoption, and understand how the agentic BA approach can be applied within a BA/PM governance framework.

Prerequisites for participation:

  • Basic BA methodological knowledge or equivalent professional experience, as the programme does not re-teach the methodological fundamentals but focuses on the practical application of AI;
  • your own registered account with an AI tool (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini), as we work with this throughout the course. Participation in guest mode (without logging in) is not possible. A free account is also suitable, but bear in mind that the message limits on free tiers may be used up during the two days of intensive use, so a paid plan is recommended;
  • your own laptop, on which the chosen AI tool is accessible via a browser.

The programme can also be delivered as an in-house course, in which case we work through a sample project suggested by the client.

“Finally, not just another dull, run-of-the-mill course on how to prompt and what the basics of AI are! It helped enormously that we tried out the tools through a complete process and a real case, I came away with knowledge I could use straight away, thank you!”

No. The programme does not re-teach BA methodological fundamentals or the basics of AI, but instead focuses on practical application through a complete process and a real case study. The course shows you exactly how and where AI can be used in BA processes, where you can expect weaker results from AI, and where dedicated human oversight is needed.

Three things are required: basic BA methodological knowledge or equivalent professional experience, your own registered account with an AI tool (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini), and your own laptop, on which the chosen AI tool is accessible via a browser. Participation in guest mode, without logging in, is not possible.

A free account is also suitable, but it's worth knowing that the message limits on free tiers may be used up during the two days of intensive use, so we recommend a paid plan.

It runs in a classroom format (1118 Budapest, Kelenhegyi út 29/b.) or online (via MS Teams). It can also be delivered as an in-house course, in which case we work through a sample project suggested by the client.

We offer a satisfaction guarantee: if you let us know during the first training block that you're not satisfied, you won't need to pay. We invoice the fee after the course, we ask for nothing upfront.

Open courses run in Hungarian with 4 to 12 participants. For in-house, group training, the numbers and schedule can be arranged separately by agreement.
