These are just a few questions that can be challenging for someone new to the subject. During our 2-day program, participants work through a real project case, experiencing the practical application of traditional methodologies.

“Engaging and thought-provoking—it encourages deeper reflection on the topic and sparks new ideas. The content is accessible and interesting even for those less familiar with the subject. The structure was excellent, with a well-balanced mix of theory and practice, and I especially appreciated the clear, everyday examples that made everything easy to understand.”

Frequently asked questions:

The Project Management Fundamentals training is recommended for project assistants, project coordinators, people who are new to traditional project management and for whom hands-on experience is a priority during the training.

The participants of the Project Management Fundamentals training do not obtain an international qualification, but they will receive a certificate issued by ProMan Consulting Ltd., which certifies that the participant has completed the training and acquired the knowledge. If certification is the objective, we recommend the CAPM Exam Preparation Course, which prepares candidates for the PMI-CAPM certification.

During the training, participants will be introduced to the basic vocabulary of project management and the basics of traditional project management: project needs management, project set-up, planning (scope, schedule, costs, stakeholders, risks) and change management are the main focus of the training.

During the training, a complex case study will be solved in groups of 3-6 people. After the theoretical learning, the participants will perform exercises based on the case study for the given part of the curriculum, e.g. WBS construction, mesh design, project cost estimation, etc. The programme simulates the activities from the formulation of the project requirement to the closing.

Graduates will gain a structured knowledge of traditional project management, supported by a diploma, which will support more effective work and contribute to career development and increased competitiveness in the labour market.

If you have relatively little relevant work experience in project management and your main goal is to gain a better understanding of traditional project management and to learn and try out practical tools, this training could be ideal.

No, this training is hard skill focused, however, there are also soft skill focused training courses available in our training portfolio at entry level.

The training is available in classroom (District XI classroom) and online versions. The exact schedule is available in the Training Calendar.

The open training courses are in Hungarian. In the case of outsourced, group training, it is possible to attend training in English.
